Trish Alicino Orchard was born in New Jersey and grew up in the center of the Garden State with proximity to the ocean, country farms, and bustling cities. Not coincidentally, these are just a few of the themes in her pastels and oil paintings. She studied fine art at Pratt Institute in New York before attaining a B.S. in Marketing at Rutgers University. She later moved to Pittsburgh where she received additional instruction at the Carnegie Museum of Art and Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. Orchard's paintings have been exhibited in national and international juried shows and her work is represented in various corporate and private collections. She works at her studios in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Mendocino, California and en plein air throughout her travels.
